Statesman Journal readers favor police facility away from Civic Center

The Salem Statesman Journal newspaper asked readers, "Where should the City of Salem police station be located." Result of this unscientific poll: Downtown Salem at City Hall -- 33% On Portland Road -- 46% Don't know -- 6%

Don't care -- 13%

Two percent went missing, apparently. Those percentages add up to 98%. Like we said, this poll was unscientific.
